Development of tolerance in displaced adultescence

Abstract

The current research aims to1. Tolerance (forgiveness) among adolescents according to two variables:A- Age (13, 14, 15) years. B - Sex (male / female).2 - Significance of differences in tolerance among adolescents according to twovariables: A - Age (13, 14, 15) years. B- Sex (male / female).To achieve the research goals, the researchers adopted the Denham and Neal Tolerance Scale (Denham et al., 2002), this scale consists of (8) stories with a schoolage familiar conflict case that includes various social relationships between peers,situation based on real-life scenarios. The scale has been translated into Arabic, theveracity of its translation and its standard characteristics were verified, and after itsapplication to the research sample of (180) respondents from adolescents aged (13,14, 15) years, as (60) adolescents for each age group covered by the research, equallydivided between males and females, sample data were processed statistically, following results were found:1. Adolescents aged (13, 14) years had tolerance, while they don’t at the age of (15).2. The evolutionary course of tolerance is not affected by age and gender.
