Islamic facilities and facilities until the Abbasid era, the bimaristans and bathrooms as a model

Abstract

Islamic civilization is a conscious and comprehensive civilization in both its material and moral aspects. How can it not while it derives its legitimacy from the Qur’an and the Sunnah, where it is concerned with the human being as a useful and active person with life who deals with it, and because civilization is concerned with human morals, it is concerned with his health and his body, and this is a goal and the Islamic civilization denounces him religiously and physically.Muslims, rulers and the general public have taken care of the issue of public health, as health facilities are an aspect of the challenge in terms of science, heritage, hygiene and beauty.This study dealt with the public facilities in both parts of the bimaristans and the baths in the Arab Islamic state until the Abbasid era.The first topic dealt with the bathroom linguistically and idiomatically, while the second topic reviewed the architectural design of Islamic bathrooms, the third topic dealt with the buildings, fuel and sewage systems in it, the fourth topic was devoted to bathroom workers, the fifth topic touched on the types of public and private bathrooms, and the sixth topic discussed the work of the Muhtasib, and devoted The seventh topic to highlight the statistics of Islamic baths.
