Abstract

This study dealt with searching for the concept of international conflict, the reasons that leads to the outbreak of international conflicts, and the most important mechanisms that countries can use in managing their conflicts. This study assured on the necessity of distinction between the concept of international conflict and some concepts close to it, Observing through the research that there is confusion and lack of distinction between the concept of international conflict and some concepts close to it, including, for example, the concept of international dispute, the concept of war and the concept of international crisis. Also observing there is a mixture and non-discrimination between international conflict management, and another concepts such as, conflict resolution concept, the concept of conflict transformation, the concept of peace building, and the concept of international crisis management. This study was divided into two demands, as the concept of international conflict and the causes that lead to the outbreak of international conflicts were discussed in a first demand, and the second demand was devoted to the concept of managing international conflict and the mechanisms of managing international conflict, and the most important reasons that affect the management of international conflict.
