The importance of public relations in the Baghdad Municipality in achieving sustainable development An applied study of public relations and municipal media activities
Abstract
The study aims to use public relations in strengthening the efforts of the Baghdad Municipality to implement sustainable development plans, such as reducing environmental pollution and limiting the effects of climate change. The objective depends on the impact of public relations on sustainable development by focusing in particular on the social and cultural environment. And what is its role in the Municipality of Baghdad in achieving sustainable development? , In addition, what is its role in the activities of the municipal media, and does it organize environmental awareness campaigns that contribute to reducing the negative effects on the environment? The researcher concluded that public relations play a major role in organizing awareness campaigns to protect the environment and its sustainability through the effective use of public relations strategies and instilling the required environmental education and awareness that will lead to a change in people's attitudes to become environmentally friendly.
