Civil protection for minority rights and its impact on peaceful coexistence in Iraq


The issue of minorities has not been raised in any era of history with the severity and gravity with which it is raised today, despite the fact that most of the minorities’ problems are solvable if there is a national will to solve them before they escalate and take the path of no return. It reflected the diversity of the Iraqi people’s ethnic, religious, tribal, sectarian and linguistic components.
