Abstract

The issue of minorities has not been raised in any era of history with the severity and gravity with which it is raised today, despite the fact that most of the minorities’ problems are solvable if there is a national will to solve them before they escalate and take the path of no return. It reflected the diversity of the Iraqi people’s ethnic, religious, tribal, sectarian and linguistic components. The value of coexistence as a historical social contract for the groups that shaped Iraq's historical identity. This diversity and diversity in the components of Iraqi society is a double-edged sword. It is a healthy phenomenon that can be an element of richness and cultural and spiritual creativity if united within the framework of the unity of national identity
