Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study aimed to identify the effect of computerized educational program on the development of some knowledge skills among kindergarten child in Karak Governorate. The study sample consisted of (50) children of the second level from a special kindergarten in Karak Governorate, aged from 5 to 6 years, divided into two study groups as follow: (25) children in the experimental group and (25) children in the control group. This study has used the pre-post- test Quasi Experimental Designs on both the experimental and control groups.The researcher has prepared two study tools which are: Knowledge Skills test for Kindergarten children, and the computerized educational program. Both tools had proven valid and reliable. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05). between the performance of the experimental and control groups. It also showed there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) attributed to the "gender" variable and no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) program –gender interaction variable. In the light of the results, the study concluded that there is an effect of the computerized educational program in the development of kindergarten children knowledge skills of. It also concluded that there were differences between male and female grades in knowledge skills. It also showed that there was no interaction between the gender of the child and the educational program in the development of knowledge skills of the kindergarten child.
