Abstract

The research deals with advertisements on social networking sites (Facebook website), as it has become an important tributary in the transfer of commercial advertising as a result of several factors, most notably the speed of its reach to the audience, its reasonable cost, the wide audience of Facebook followers, as well as its effectiveness in terms of monitoring and measuring the results of marketing campaigns.The research touched on the concept of funded advertising, the criteria for effective advertising design, monitoring the forms and features of funded ads on Facebook, and knowing the forms and contents of this type of advertising.The research is descriptive analytical research, as it relied on the electronic sample survey method, and in terms of form, it belongs to the descriptive studies that describe the typographical elements of the advertisement.The search yielded a number of results, the most important of which are: There are two types of ads on Facebook, the first is a free ad and the second is a sponsored ad.
