Abstract

This research deals with the issue of terrorism, violence and ideological groups after the so-called Arab Spring, the complete chaos in concepts, attitudes, the emergence of extremist groups, and what resulted from that violence in terms of legitimate and counter violence, control and imposition of hegemony by the West, as well as the relationship between political Islam and the West and their practice of democracy, and the factors for the emergence of extremism, and whether the West was really serious in combating terrorism
