The level of achievement of the English language curricula for the cognitive objectives in the primary stage from the point of view of the educational supervisor

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the level of achievement of the English language curricula for cognitive goals in the primary stage from the educational supervisor’s point of view. The sampling data includes 32 educational supervisors who work in the General Directorate of Education in Maysan. To check the validity of the research, the researcher prepared a questionnaire to verify the goal of the research after reviewing a number of literature and studies. It consisted of (25) items with a five-step scale, and its validity and reliability were confirmed, and using statistical means (Facronbach's equation, mean, standard deviation, and percentage) were treated the data is statistically. The researcher concluded that the level of achievement of the cognitive objectives of the English language curricula in the primary stage from the educational supervisor's point of view was at an average level. Based on the research results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
