The true happiness of the human soul in the philosophy of Mulla Sadra

Abstract

Abstract:-According to the contents of the noble verses and noble narrations, the true happiness of the human soul is represented in being close to the Creator, the Most High, in meeting Him and witnessing Him, and in reaching the degree of Paradise for oneself, which is the highest level of Paradise. Most philosophers believe that the final happiness of man is the power of the theoretical mind reaching the rank of the learned mind. As for Mulla Sadra, he adopted this saying in his initial opinion, but his final opinion was based on the deep and accurate philosophical foundations of transcendent wisdom. In it, he established the opinion of religion about the real and final happiness of the rational human soul, and he said that real happiness and perfection can only be found in divine proximity and in annihilation in the Almighty God. Some claimed, because of their inaccurate and incomplete understanding of the expressions of the Holy Qur’an, and their lack of correct understanding of Mulla Sadra’s words and opinions; The opinion of Mulla Sadra in this regard is contrary and even opposed to what was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, and they adhered in their criticism of Mulla Sadra to things, including the interest of the Holy Qur’an in physical paradise and eschatological happiness, and the emphasis on practical reason in reaching final happiness, in exchange for Mulla Sadra’s interest in self-paradise and worldly happiness. And his emphasis on the theoretical mind to reach true happiness, and we will discuss their evidence with study and analysis in this research prepared according to the descriptive analytical approach.Keywords: ultimate happiness, perfection, self-paradise, divine closeness.
