The Role of Banking Sector in developing the Capital market and its reflection on sustainable development programs
Abstract
The general financial market consists of two main parts:1- The Capital Market.2- The money market.Where the first market is supervised by the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) and the second is supervised by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) , and the common goal between the two markets is to create mechanisms to finance various projects that develop the local economy and improve employment workforce. The legal law for LLC. companies to turn into large Join Stock companies and could be holding groups. The main financing tools in the first market are (shares, bonds and other financial instruments), as other financial instruments in the second market, is mainly loans, but there are many shared instruments between these two markets, for example, the procedures for establishing joint stock companies (Initial Public Offering) are among the duties of banks, although these companies are the main player in the capital market. The main goal of this research and through the experiences of researchers in their participation In their work to apply banking systems also through and through the accumulated experience over more than 30 years in evaluating the lack of necessary systems and products in the Iraqi capital markets compared to the products available in other markets, so the focus will be on the types of these products that are motivate both markets, present their importance in achieving the general objective of the financial market, to achieve the goals of sustainable development in attracting domestic savings and foreign investments to convert them into national investment.
