Palestinian Refugees in United Nations: UNRWA as an Example

Abstract

The Palestinian refugees Cause rose in the wake of the Israeli occupation and the forced deportation for three fourths of the Palestinians. The refugees and deportees remained away of their homes and properties, and still asking for a fair and steady solution on the basis of international legality.Hence, The UN General Assembly adopted the (302) resolution in 1949 to establish UNRWA for refugees humanitarian aid. UNRWA depends on donations form donor states. It reduces frequently the expenditure levels because of financing falter. As a result there were gaps in its duty toward refugees. The role of UNRWA restricted to humanitarian aspects, excluding intervening in refugees fateful causes except in meddling to Israeli authorities cautiously and reports that submitted to UN. It is still practicing its function in cooperation with neighboring Arab States until now.
