(Synchronization of inflation and unemployment in the Iraqi economy after the occupation) (For the period 2003 to 2006)

Abstract

Can be assured that the Iraqi economy was suffering from high rates of in¬flation and unemployment due to a series of wars and crises successive over Iraq, particularly during the period from 1981 until its occupation in 2003 - and so far, but what happened to those rates of steady increases after the oc¬cupation makes us We believe that this is a flaw economically significant reflected the negative impact on many of the indicators in the economy, es-pecially if we know that economic logic points to the existence of an inverse relationship standing between a high rate of inflation and low unemployment and vice versa but the Iraqi economy was characterized by a high rate of in¬flation, the average annual growth 76.6 in August 2006 and a high percent¬age of unemployment reached up to 50% of all Iraqis in the same year, which means that the relationship between inflation and unemployment are posi¬tively correlated, rather than to be an inverse relationship as an economic perspective, and perhaps this contradiction is the focal point, which was launched, including the idea and the importance of Search, which came four sections included the following: The first topic: addressing economic concept for both inflation and unem¬ployment as well as different interpretations of each of the phenomena. Section II: addressing the current trends for both inflation and unemploy¬ment and the development of forms in addition to the sources and causes of so listening in the Iraqi economy. The third topic: the essence of the problem addressed in the search target is synchronized inflation and unemployment in the Iraqi economy with an at¬tempt to identify the real causes that have contributed to the common syn¬chronized high rates that we are witnessing today in this economy. Conclusion / conclusions have been developed with the recommendations and propose some solutions to this problem.
