Abstract

The research includes a brief introduction to the incidents and developments in Harat and Seestan and their influence on the Iranian- Afghani relation, and the attitude of the Super Powers(Great Britain at that time) towards that struggle during the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. The research is divided into the following sections:-The Iranian-Afghani relations/ A historical background.-The Iranian-Afghani struggle over Harat and Seestan and the British attitude towards it. These sections are divided into the following stages:The first stage which extends from 1832 to 1853.The second stage which extends from 1853 to 1935.The conclusion of the study includes a summary of the results.
