The Influence of a Suggested Training Method in Developing Certain Physical Abilities and its Influence on Some Sitting Grips of Free Style Wrestlers Aged (16-17) Years

Abstract

The paper falls into five sections:Section One: IntroductionThe physical and skill needs are closely related for they represent the main basis of skillful performance (technique), thus the technical level highly depends upon what high physical requirements the wrestler has that are linked to skill and sporting activity. Having technical skills devoid of good physical stamina is not enough to have a quick response in competition. Therefore, the paper’s importance lies in setting a suggested training method to develop some specific bodily abilities and its influence on some sitting grips and improving the physical level of free style wrestlers aged (16-17). 1.2 The problem The individual physical and skill abilities play a vital role in achieving top scores, and trainers often question their wrestlers’ losses in wrestling and about the reason behind their losing. Definitely, the reason lies in the lack of using sitting grips in spite of their importance in wrestling matches for they give to the player two points and then achieving the best sporting achievements. Hence, the researcher tries to study this problem through setting a suggested training method to develop some special bodily abilities and its impact on some certain sitting grips in free style wrestling and to heighten the physical level of free style wrestlers aged (16-17) years.1.3 The Aims1. Setting a suggested training method to develop some special physical abilities and its effect on some sitting grips of free style wrestlers aged (16-17) years.2. Discovering the level of influence of the suggested training method in developing some special bodily abilities and its influence on some certain sitting grips of free style wrestlers aged (16-17) years.1.4 Hypotheses1. There are significant variations between pre and post tests of the two groups; the experimental and the controlling in favor of the post test.2. There are significant differences between the two post tests of the experimental and controlling groups in favor of the experimental.1.5 Scope of Study1.5.1 Humanistic Scope: A sample of Baquba team free style wrestlers aged (16-17), weight (63)kg.1.5.2 Time Scope: The period from December/ 1st/ 2012 to March/ 20th/ 2012.1.5.3 Location Scope: Private wrestling hall/ Baquba.Section Two: History of LiteratureIt includes; what is wrestling, technical performance in wrestling, the importance of physical abilities in wrestling.Section Three: Methods and ProceduresThe experimental method is applied to solve the study’s problems. The sample is chosen in the vertical way and wrestlers are divided into two groups; experimental and controlling with (6) wrestlers each. Moreover, the tools, methods and devices used in the study are specified in addition to setting the tests and doing an explorative experiment, then performing the pre tests to decide the sample’s level. After that the suggested training method is applied, followed then by performing the post tests within the same circumstances of the pre tests. Section Four: DiscussionThe study’s first aim is achieved in section three, while the second is figured out when verifying the paper’s hypotheses. The two hypotheses are certified through statistical operations. There appeared significant differences in favor of the post test according to the first hypothesis, and significant variations in favor of the experimental group due to the suggested training method, the exercises used in it and its relying on minute scientific bases. Section Five: Conclusions and Recommendations5.1 ConclusionsIn the light of the achieved results obtained through applying the field experiment and using some statistical methods, the following conclusions are derived:1. Results acquired by applying the suggested training method verified that there is a clear development in the experimental group in special bodily tests, while the controlling group has shown significant variations with little development between pre and post tests results in special bodily tests in comparison to the experimental group.2. The two groups; the experimental and the controlling showed significant differences between the two post tests results in favor of the experimental group in special bodily tests applied in this study.5.2 RecommendationsIn the light of the achieved results, the researcher recommends:1. Applying the suggested training method on free style wrestlers in national teams of ages (16-17) years.2. Using the special bodily tests applied in this study in measuring and training in the field scope of free style wrestling.3. Accomplishing similar studies and papers on different ages so as to develop the physical side of free style wrestlers.4. Setting other suggested training methods on other weights of different ages and in different preparation levels.
