Abstract
Many Schiff bases were prepared by condensation reaction of 4-nitro-o-phenylenediamine with benzaldehyde and some of its o-substituted derivatives in alcohol medium. All the ompounds were characterised by C.H.N. elemental analysis, FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy
