The use of Arabic Internet sites and their Impact on children's culture

Abstract

The rese arch aims to offer the use of Arabic sites of the Internet by the children ranging between (10-16)age, and highlight the positive and negative effects in the culture of the child and the most important aspects of scientific, recreational and exploratory and social development. Survey methodology was used for the internet stations in Baghdad's information, and has been the outcome of the response to the questionnaire the percentage (89%) to determine the point of view of children in this field to provide information that helps them in various fields.The most important conclusions reached by the research are:That the Internet represents one of the important means to collect information for the children, they were used by males(64%), while the percentage of the females (36%), and had a positive impact in the performance of the assumptions or the amount of classroom (54%), and that most uses of the Internet by the children for the purpose of obtaining information on the estimated rate of recent (83%), and has recorded the most important search engines that were used at the sites is a search engine (Yahoo), or (51%), followed by ( Yahoo Messenger), or (42%), and the most important proposals that findings of the research is an attempt to set limits and controls on the use of the Internet by parents, is essential for the parents and a friendly dialogue with their children on the uses of the Internet and how to utilize them, and it is important that parents follow-level grades for their children.
