Effect of using magnetic water on milk production in Friesian cows

Abstract

This study was conducted at cows field belongs to College of Agriculture and Forestry / Mousul University form 15/10/2012 to 20/12/2012 . Six Friesian local cows were used in the second – half of lactation season randomly divided into three groups each group consist of two cows , and each cow kept in a room of 5×6 mt , three groups of magnated water were used for drinking (0 , 700 , 1400) guass reciprocally in three periods each period took 3 weeks , two weeks as priminelary period , and one week experimentally . Sample of milk were taken and the treatment were changed over on cows wheares two cows in each period took the same treatment .The results revealed a significant (P≤0.05) effects for magnated water treatment on average daily milk yield , corrected milk , fat and protein percentage with no significant differences on lactose and solied not fat in milk compared with normal water
