Diagnosis methods for the determination of training needs in the educational institutions Application at the University of Tikrit

Abstract

Abstract The paper aimed to identify ways and methods that can be used to determine the training needs of Tikrit University , and highlight their importance to contribute to the design and construction of active training programs , which are the basis of the training process, and also aimed to identify problems and obstacles that may face this process, and how to address it. Besides, statement over the university's interest in the process of identifying training needs and link them to its targets . Study population ( sample ) was consisted of all employees of the (TU) all three levels.(54) questionnaire forms were distributed and (45) form has been retrieved which represent (83%). Data was processed using the statistical package (spss), means and standard deviation were used in addition to analyzing basic factors to assess training needs. The study concluded a set of conclusions and recommendations , the most important among them are: -The necessity of taking the technological changes in the identification of training needs in the university. - Increasing the financial support to prepare good budget for training. -More importance must be given to the internal and external training courses.
