Rhetorical Alliteration in Nahjul Balagha Explanation by Al-Alawi (Al-Debaj Al-Wadhi Fi Al-Kashif An Asrar Al-Wasi)

Abstract

This research tackles "Rhetorical Alliteration in Nahjul Balagha Explanation" by Yahya Bin Hamza Al-Alawi (died 794 A.H.) within six binders including: speeches and indications, messages and letters as well as opinions and questions. It discussed the indications referring to the development of alliteration concept for Al-Alawi in a way that the researcher was able to conclude that alliteration of all kinds is nothing more than a homonymous repetition of sounds with a homogenous rhythm which occurs either with letters or with words. In addition, the structures in texts bears additional indications affecting the intended meaning owing to the fact that it needs conclusion and concentration by the receiver to know the total form of the semantic system of the text and the reason for creating that picture.Al-Alawi has revealed most of his main basis revealing some of its branches. On this basis, the research is divided into alliteration: (unrestricted, abbreviated, doubled, derived) including its identifying limits and semantic differences among the contextual units of each one mentioning some opinions revealing the Imams (p.b.u.h.) creativity and eloquent ability.
