Abstract

The present study aimed to evaluate science teacher preparation programs in colleges of basic education through investigation of the availability of standards to prepare science teachers in trainer students and exploring the views of faculty supervisors students and principals of schools in which trainer students apply.To achieve the objectives of the study prepared a questionnaire consisting of 36 items distributed on (4) areas:1-personality traits and the number of paragraphs (5) paragraph.2-professional requirements and the number of paragraphs (19) paragraph.3-scientific and cultural requirements and the number of paragraphs (5) paragraph.4-ethical requirements and the number of paragraphs (7) paragraph.Resolution offered by arbitrators validity and reliability coefficient. The research sample consisted of (19) teachers (42) manager or director of a school. And to indicate the availability of standards has been calculated the weighted average and weight percentile paragraphs of the resolution after resolution on the distribution sample and calculate the frequencies of each paragraph and field.Results showed that most of the criteria for teacher preparation available to trainer students under estimates the research sample of faculty and departments, schools, and get some of the criteria on the estimates low, especially "on the use of methods teaching modern because of the absence of the practical side where, as results showed match the views of both parties on the calendar some paragraphs of the resolution and the key components for identifying and teaching departments estimates were higher than the estimates of teachers for all paragraphs
