Abstract

Targeted the current study to identify the level of thinking beyond the knowledge among the students of the Faculty of Education of Human Sciences, as well as to identify the level of thinking beyond the cognitive depending on the variable sex, specialization and limited current research on a sample of (100) students from the second phase and males and females were chosen randomly stratified Students of the Faculty of Education of the terms of reference for humanitarian and Karbala University for the academic year (2013-2014). In order to achieve the objectives of the research were to adopt a measure cognitive thinking beyond prepared by Cherau and Densen 1994 Translator by the surgeon and slaves, 2009. The measure applied to a sample of basic research, and after analyzing the data and processed statistically using samples t-test for one sample and samples t-test for two independent samples. The study found that members of the research sample are thinking beyond the high cognitive and no statistically significant differences according to the gender variable on a scale of thinking beyond the cognitive and in favor of females.
