شهدت المنطقة العربية بعد انتهاء الحرب العالمية الثانية (1939-1945) تطورات مهمة لاتزال اثارها تعاني منها المنطقة الى اليوم وتمثلت هذه التطورات بقيام دولة اسرائيل واندلاع الحرب العربية – الاسرائيلية في عام 1948م .كانت فرنسا احدى الدول الكبرى التي اسهمت بشكل مهم في ذلك الصراع ابتدء من اتفاقية سايكس بيكو 1916م ، وصولا الى عام 1948م مرحلة البحث ، وفي هذا البحث الموسوم ( موقف فرنسا من الحرب العربية – الاسرائيلية 1948م ) سنقوم بتسليط الضوء على الموقف الفرنسي من مجريات الاحداث والتطورات في القضية الفلسطينية منذ صدور وعد بلفور 1917م ، وصولا الى مرحلة الانتداب وما جاء بمؤتمر سان ريمو1920م والاحداث التي شهدتها القضية الفلسطينية من زيادة الهجرة اليهودية الى فلسطين واندلاع المقاومة العربية في المدة مابين 1929-1936م وصولا الى مشروع تقسيم فلسطين عام 1947م . تم تقسيم البحث الى مبحثين ،تناول الاول الموقف الفرنسي من تطورات القضية الفلسطينية ، اما المبحث الثاني من البحث فقد تناول الموقف الفرنسي من قيام دولة اسرائيل 1948م وكذلك اندلاع الحرب العربية الاسرائيلية على اثر ذلك الاعلان . اعتمد البحث على مجموعة من المصادر ابرزها احمد سعيد نوفل ،العلاقات الفرنسية العربية من خلال موقف فرنسا من العناصر الاساسية للقضية الفلسطينية ، وفليب بيرفوست ،فرنسا والمأساة الفلسطينية دراسة تاريخية 1914-1922م،وكذلك كتاب شفيق الرشيدات ،فلسطين تاريخ وعبرة ومصير، فضلا عن العديد من المصادر التي يمكن الاطلاع عليها في قائمة المصادر .
