The genetic distance between species wasdetermined as it ranged from 0.10 to 0.97, as well as the use of cluster analysis tobuild the genetic diversity tree which formed two main groups based on theirancestors, morphological and anatomical specifications, which depending on theresults of this study and the results of other studies as anatomy and pollen wererecorded a new species in Iraq within this genus is Iris madonna Dykes.
