First,we propose a new encryption algorithm based on arithmetic coding to encrypt the fingerprint minutiaepoints. Then, minutiae codes are embedded in facial feature vectors using a new embedding methodbased on XOR to produce a stego-template. The influence of hiding process on the performance offace recognition system was tested. The experiments showed that the degradation was not raised insystem accuracy. So, the proposed scheme can be implementedto secure the sensitive data in amultibiometric system that combines face and fingerprint to authenticate individuals.
