The difference between the two types those been jabbed led to different values of electro-optic properties because of the different susceptibilities of the materials. It was seen that the LC with cobalt nanoparticles was more responsive to the applied electric field owing to the nature of the constituent material (electric material) than the pure LC. The response time of the doped LC is greater than the response time of the pure LC, which makes the doped LC is the best in the optical switching applications.
