The most effective ingredient in the FBMC is the pulse shaping thatthe OFDM symbol lacks. In this paper, a comparative study is presentedbetween different pulse shapes used in the FBMC like the RRC, PHYDIAS,IOTA and Hermite function alongside the conventional OFDM.
