It refers also to the confusion between "existence" and "being" in Islamic philosophy. The research deals the absence of verb to be in Arabic, and how Arab Muslim philosophers and logicians tried to solve this problem and find out equivalents for it. It also refers to being and non-being whether they are absolute or limited through Arabic. Finally, it deals with "this-ness" in Islamic philosophy and the origin of its derivation.

يتناول هذا البحث موضوع الوجود في الفلسفة الإسلامية، كيف أُسس له لغوياً منذ بدايات نشوء هذه الفلسفة بعد ترجمة الفلسفة اليونانية الى العربية، وبعض إمكانات الصياغات اللغوية التي لم يستثمرها الفلاسفة والمناطقة المسلمون. ويتطرق الى الالتباس بين "الوجود" و"الكينونة" وغياب الثاني من النص الفلسفي الاسلامي. ويشير الى غياب فعل الكينونة (الرابطة) في اللغة العربية وكيف حاول الفلاسفة والمناطقة العرب المسلمون حل هذه المشكلة وإيجاد المعادل له. ويتناول الوجود والعدم بوصفهما مقيدين أم مطلقين في الفكر الفلسفي الاسلامي من خلال لغته. ويتطرق أخيراً الى مفهوم الإنّية في الفلسفة الاسلامية والأصل الحقيقي له بعد ردّ بعض الآراء حول اشتقاقه في اللغة العربية.
