The effect of variation of the bias current on the chaos control is satisfied. Chaotic synchronization can occur depending on the strengths of the coupling as well as the dc bias current of the laser. Therefore, the effects of bias current variation of semiconductor laser between two chaotic oscillators on the synchronization in a closed-loop configuration are studied. The simulation results show that, at dc bias current from 106 to 114 μA, high quality chaos synchronization can be preserved, and the communications performance can be enhanced by increasing the bias current of slave laser.
