@Article{, title={The Argumentative Structure in the Poetry of Sayyid Haidar Al-Hilli البنية الحجاجية في شعر حيدر الحلي قصيدة «الله يا حامي الشريعة » مثالًا}, author={Muslim Malik Al-Asadi مسلم مالك الأسدي and Hazim Allawi Al-Ghanimi حازم علاوي الغانمي}, journal={Al-Muhaqqiq Journal مجلة المحقق}, volume={2}, number={3}, pages={259-284}, year={2017}, abstract={With every period of anxiety and adversity, a tyrant ascending the throne, perdition of the weak in silence, humility and poverty, we find that appeals are raised for the Divine mercy, either directly or by imploring through one of the strong covenants of Allah, whose roots and branches He has distributed in His land to serve His servants. This is a case which people have done by turns and among them are poets. One of these poets is our poet Sayyid Haidar Al-Hilli, who has drawn himself a road for expressing most of theShiite occasions, in poems that he called (Al-Hawliyyat: Yearly Written Poems). One of these poems is the subject of this paper: Allah ya hami ash-Shari’a(Defender of Islamic Law), which is an employment of praising as well as arguing with the Awaited Imam(MayAllah hasten his Reappearance). It is an excellent poem in which the poet addresses the Awaited Imam (Pbuh), asking him for help, acceptance and Reappearance to lead this nation for glory and Divine admittance. The paper contains a Preface and two parts. Part One contains some brief lines about the life of the poet and the meaning of argumentation. This includes Section One which deals the rhetorical argumentation: metaphor, simile and metonymy; and Section Two which deals with the study of linguistic argumentation, its direct and indirect forms, and a Conclusion, in which we have indicated the most important results we have come up with in the paper. Some of these are the following: The poet has invested the rarefactionof time limits and the basics to build his poem according to an argumentative sample, through which he has addressed the Awaited Imam(Pbuh) mentioning the past of his grandfathers, which is framed by prestige and power, the wrongly and oppressively killed people of his household, together with an attempt to focus on the unsheathed swords of the helpers, who are waiting for the time of the blessed Reappearance.Out of all these, the poet has built his poem on a preceding point of view, to which the poet has not surrendered since he knows that the Reappearance never takes place accept by a Divine order. The poet’s doctrine is steadfast in this respect, but he expresseshis inner feelings and the feelings of his companions, whose souls are unsettled with pain. This has led patience to disappear from their hearts, which have immigrated to ask for Reappearance, deploring and loving rather than complaining. At the end of the paper there ii a list of References.
