Here, the topic of research will be the importance of an Ottoman city with a historical and civilized footprint characterized by a geographical location making it one of the most famous ports in the century. It attracted the attention of merchants from various parts of the world, including New World merchants and American colonies, whose merchants worked under the authority and patronage of Britain until 1775, and then the events of that new entity resulted in the United States of America, which strove to enter Track competition and Neil commercial gains by building relationships with the Ottoman Empire at the end of the eighteenth century and the first quarter of the nineteenth century.

تكمن أهمية التبادل التجاري بين الشعوب من الأهمية كونها الصفة التي تجتمع عن طريق الشعوب وتتبادل المنفعة، وعلى أساسها دائما تبنى العلاقات السياسية وتتطور إيجابا في الغالب، وهنا سيكون موضوع البحث في أهمية مدينة عثمانية لها قدم تاريخي وحضاري تميزت بموقع جغرافي جعلها من أشهر الموانئ في القرن الثامن عشر اذ جذبت اهتمام التجار من شتى بقاع العالم ومن بينهم تجار العالم الجديد ومستعمرات الامريكية التي عمل تجارها تحت سلطة بريطانيا ورعيتها حتى عام 1775، ثم جاءت أحداث ذلك الكيان الجديد لتنتج عنها دولة الولايات المتحدة الامريكية، التي سعت جاهدة الى دخول مضمار التنافس ونيل المكاسب التجارية عن طريق بناء علاقات مع الدولة العثمانية في نهاية القرن الثامن عشر والربع الأول من القرن التاسع عشر.} }
