It occurs due to germs developing the ability to drubthe antimicrobial agents designed to kill them. The danger comes from the quickly spreading of antimicrobial resistance aroundthe world; therefore, it is recognized as a global public health issue by many international health organizations. Consequently, thereduction of this issue requires major and alternative solutions at the same time. Major solutions involve the ideal use of antimicrobialagents, conduction of antimicrobial and drugs surveillance programs, increased awareness for all categories of society, cleanlinessand disinfection, restriction of the use of antibiotics in veterinary medicine and agriculture, and investigation or development of newantimicrobial agents. Whereas, an alternative solution occurs via developing new approaches, and return to the use of ancient drug.Hence, this review comes as an effort to make aware all the categories of society about the possible solutions of this problem.
