Many systems and components worksimultaneously to fulfil a significant operation andcontrol of the system process. The existing evaporativecooler system panel is based on the conventional relaysystem and has many drawbacks. It takes time and isdifficult for people to reach; it could endanger humanlife and damage machinery. It operates entirelymanually and has little to no remote capabilities. Anyharm or failure to the electrical panel, the motors, orthe instrumentation results in a system shutdown anda loss of power production without giving the controlroom any prior notice. An automated control systemis the natural next step for such a system to eradicatethese problems. The Proposal is to implement anautomation system designed and implemented byusing S7- 1215C Siemens CPU for controlling andWinCC RT advanced as HMI and SCADA approach formonitoring. The programming software is Totallyintegrated Automation (TIA) Portal V15 software andis used for monitoring the configuration file.Programming style is the ladder while web-servercapabilities are initialized for using the wirelessprotocol with mobile device App S7 for operating andmonitoring the system. This paper proposed aninnovative automation design and implementation forthe gas turbine evaporative cooler system atErbil/Perdawd combined cycle power plant. Theexperimental results show that the proposedembedded automation control system is very flexibleand simple for controlling and monitoring theevaporative cooler.
