(PHALAENIDAE:LEPIDOPTERA) ON SORGHUM تقويم بعض عناصر المكافحة المتكاملة لحفار ساق الذرةعلى الذرة البيضاء}, author={Musa M. Al-Hassnawi موسى محمود الحسناوي}, journal={Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences مجلة العلوم الزراعية العراقية}, volume={40}, number={6}, pages={21-29}, year={2009}, abstract={Field experiments were carried out at the fields of the college of Agriculture, Abu-Ghraib, during the fall season/2008 to evaluate the effectiveness of some cultural and chemical methods to control the corn borer, Sesamia cretica Led. on sorghum fields. Results indicated that the delay of the sowing dates of sorghum to the end of July, significantly reduced the infestation percentage of S. cretica and seedling dead heart to 5.03%, 4.74% respectively, compared with that of control treatment of 17.02% and 35.12% respectively. Results also revealed that sowing two rows (lines) of corn in the middle of the sorghum plots, significantly reduced the infestation percentage of S. cretica and seedling dead heart to 4.56%, 16.22%, and even to the lower values of 2.35, 8.91% respectively, When two rows of corn were planted on each side of the sorghum plots, compared with that for the control treatment 17.25%, 34.03% respectively. Results of the effects of the six insecticides tested indicated that IGR's Match and Hi-Catch were most effective and significantly reducing infestation percentage of sorghum plants by the corn borer to (4.19%, 5.92%) and seedling dead hearts to (8.09%, 10.2%) respectively, while its reached a 23.1%, 31.79% in the control plots. The yield of all treated plants was significantly higher than that of untreated plots. However, insecticides can be divided into 3 groups according to their effects on yield of sorghum. Match and Hi-catch treatments were the most effective which lead to increase of yield by 50%, followed by 43% for Sinoprid and( 23.33-26% )for the last group of insecticides, Diazinon 10%,Crusier350FS and Furdan10G.The role of sowing dates, intercropping with corn, and the chemical insecticides tested in the IPM for the corn borer, Sesamia cretica also discussed.

تم تنفيذ تجربة في حقول كلية الزراعة/ أبو غريب خلال الموسم الخريفي/2008 لتقويم كفاءة بعض الطرق الزراعية والكيمياوية في مكافحة حفار ساق الذرة Sesamia cretica Led. التي تصيب محصول الذرة البيضاء أوضحت النتائج أن تأخير موعد زراعة الذرة البيضاء الى نهاية شهر تموز بدلاً من الموعد المتعارف عليه والموصى به خلال منتصف شهر تموز قد ادى الى تقليل نسب الإصابة بالحفار وموت القمة النامية على البادرات وبصورة معنوية حيث إنخفضت هذه النسب الى 5.03% و 4.74% بالتتابع مقارنة بمعاملة القياس والتي بلغت فيها تلك النسب 17.02% و 35.12% على التوالي. وأشارت النتائج الى أن زراعة خطين من الذرة الصفراء وسط الألواح المزروعة بالذرة البيضاء قد ادت الى تقليل نسبة الإصابة وموت القمة النامية حيث بلغت 4.56% و 10.22% في النمط الأول، في حين إنخفضت أكثر عند زراعة خطين من الذرة الصفراء على محيط اللوح حيث بلغت النسب 2.35% و 8.91% بالتتابع بالمقارنة مع معاملة المقارنة والتي بلغت فيها هذه النسب 17.25% و 34.03% على الترتيب.أوضحت نتائج إختبار المبيدات الكيمياوية تفوق معاملات منظمات النمو Match و Hi-Catch على جميع المعاملات الأخرى في تخفيض مستويات الإصابة حيث بلغت (4.1% و 5.22%) وموت القمة النامية (8.09% و 10.02%) على التوالي مقارنة بمعاملة القياس إذ بلغت فيها هذه النسب 23.1% و 31.79% على التوالي، وامكن تقسيم هذه المعاملات من حيث تأثيرها في زيادة الحاصل إلى ثلاثة مجاميع: الأولى والمتمثلة بمبيد Match وHi-catch واللتان أعطتا أعلى زيادة في حاصل النباتات والتي تختلف معنوياً عن بقية المعاملات الأخرى حيث وصلت نسبة الزيادة في الحاصل الى حوالي 50%، ثم تلتها معاملة Sinoprid التي بلغت نسبة الزيادة فيها 37%، أما المجموعة الاخيرة وتضمنت المبيدات Crusier ، Diazinon 10% المحبب و Furdan والتي بلغت نسبة الزيادة فيها (23.33-26)%. وتمت مناقشة إمكانية الإستفادة من هذه النتائج في برنامج المكافحة المتكاملة (IPM) لحفار ساق الذرة في حقول الذرة البيضاء.} }
