Wehave identified the goalsof current research,including the following:the first goal: measuringthe level of assertivebehavior amongstudents in the teachertraining institute .the second goal: toidentify the significanceof the difference inbehavior among thestudents of the Instituteof affirmative teacherpreparation according tothe sex variable (male -female)research students of theteacher training institutein the province ofKarbala for theacademic year (2010-2011) and for gradesfive-0 and formed theresearch sample of(258) students by (129)males and (129)femalesAnd distributed togrades five and by (23)students from the firstphase, (49) studentsfrom the second phase,(45) students from thethird phase, (54)students from the fourthstage, (87) studentsfrom the fifth stage 0The researcher has builttwo standards toachieve the objectivesof the research are:ameasure assertivebehavior1 - with respect to thefirst objective: showingthat the level ofaffirmative behavior withthe average of thesample where theaverage was achieved(53.93), while theaverage washypothetical (54) 0 andthe value of T wascalculated (-0.144) issmaller than the tabularvalue of (1.960) at thelevel of significance(0.05)02 - and the second goal:the results indicate theexistence of statisticallysignificant differencesbetween respondentsaccording to gender andin favor of males. Wherethe arithmetic averagefor males (57.31) witharithmetic average forfemales (50.55) whilethe value is equal to thecalculated T (8.32) isgreater than the tabularvalue of T (1.960) atthe level of significance(0.05) 0In light of the resultsshown by the researchprovides the researchera number ofrecommendations,including the possibleuse ofInstrumentsresearchcenters in the admissionto the institutes, inaddition tostrengthening thecurriculum and variedactivities that encourageassertive behavior, takeadvantage of studentswho haveA high level of conductor affirmative.Psychological andsocial leadership invarious social activitieswithin the Institute sothat they are rolemodels for others whoenjoy the low-assertivebehaviorا
