Ahmed Abdul Hussain Azerjawi Mohamed Fouad Abdel – Abbas University of Karbala: Faculty of Education for Human Sciences Department of Psychological and Educational Sciences Ontological Security The present study aims at recognizing 1- Ontological Security of the university students . 2-Differences in the Ontological Security of the university students in accordance with both sex variables, males-females and specialization, scientific-human . This study is limited to the students of Karbala University, males-females and, scientific-human for the morning study, 2017-2018. To achieve the previous aims, the researcher 1-Builds the Ontological Security measurement of the university students depending on the theoretical frameworks available. In its final form and after completing the conditions of validity, consistency, and distinguishing power, the measurement consists of, 28 items distributed among three levels: fear of dissolubility, of the world, and of wasting and imbalance of self., The answers, very applicable to me, apply to me to a large extent, apply to me to a medium degree, not to a small degree, do not apply at all 2-To complete, the researcher applies the two measurements on a sample of, 500= male -female university students in University of Kerbala for the academic year, 2017-2018, the data are analyzed by means of, spss giving the following results: 1- The university students have a weak Ontological Security at, 0.05, 2-There are no statistical differences in the Ontological Security as per the sex variable, males-females, 3-There are no statistical differences in the Ontological Security as per the study specialization variable, scientific-human, On basis of these results, the researcher presents some conclusions, recommendations and suitable suggestions
