The effectiveness of integrated teaching methods at the elementary stage from the viewpoint of female teachers in elementary school at the holy city of Mecca

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the use of integrated methods of teaching between the subjects taught in the first three class of the basic stage in viewpoint of class teachers in holy city of mecca, and to explore the effect of experience educational level on teachers' perceptions. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (30) items to measure perceptions of teachers to the point of effectiveness of using integrated methods of teaching between the subjects taught in the elementary stage . The study sample consisted of 207 elementary female teachers in Mecca schools . The results indicated that the perceptions of the teachers towards the use of integrated methods of teaching between the subjects taught in the elementary stage were high. Results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences due to teachers' educational level. While the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at ( = 0.05) between the teachers due to the variable of experience and interaction between level of education and experience.
