Training for the development of psychological endurance and transmission performance landslide volleyball skill

Abstract

The present study discussed the development of psychological endurance among the students of the second stage in the College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sport Science to develop the skill of spiking in volleyball though designing training methods and exercises that work on those aspects. This development can only be achieved by consistent practical studies that depend on various connected disciplines like psychology which has many contributions and effective roles in developing sports.The significance of the study lies in developing a training program psychological endurance among the students in volleyball due to the importance of psychological and educational aspects in sports. Through the observation of the researcher, it was found that there is a weakness in the development and the performance of the skill of spiking. So, the study aims at designing a training method to develop psychological endurance among the students in volleyball and assessing its effectiveness. Because the weakness in this aspect will affect the students personality and create unbalanced performance and skills.
