Abstract

The study aims to identify the training needs of science teachers in the secondary stage in light of Marzano's model of learning dimensions in planning, implementation and evaluation, to identify its importance from the sample point of view, which was represented by specialists in methods of teaching , supervisors and science teachers and to verify the Statistical significant differences in the importance of those needs from the point of view of the sample according to the nature of her work, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach and specified the study population. The study sample in the original community was for the specialists and supervisors and a random sample of teachers, and then a questionnaire with the training needs of science teachers was designed In the light of Marzano model, it was codified, then applied on the study sample, and then the data obtained was analyzed using: arithmetical averages, and Standard deviations, Univariate Analysis, Levein Testing, and Dunnett C testing. One of the most important results was the identification of the training needs of science teachers of the (57) skills distributed as follows: planning (20) skills, implementation (25) skills, evaluation (12) Skills, all the skills were important from the point of view total Sample. The study made some recommendations, some of which: making use of the results of the study In the implementing of these training needs in the design of programs and training courses for Science teachers during service.Keywords:, Training Needs, Science Teachers
