Abstract
The current study has dealt with the economic sides in the over mentioned Book written by the Egyptian historian (IBn Zulaq) who lived in the 4th century AD /10 AD century). The current research has concluded that this Book is considered as a valuable one in the field of the Islamic economy. The author of this Book is a unique one in many details and tales in respect to the Islamic economy since he was a witness on many tales ever since . But by the same time we consider the right of many tales that were narrated by Ibn "Zulaq" and many historians have shared his information ever since . But , Ibn Zulaqa" has appeared forth exaggerations in his tales about Egypt and its people and its industries . It has been specified a number of these exaggerations as that being indicated in the current research.أن أهم ما توصلنا إليه هذا البحث الذي تضمن دراسة الجوانب الاقتصادية في كتاب فضائل مصر لأبن زولاق تاكيدنا على أهمية ما ورد في هذا الكتاب من مرويات مست الجوانب الاقتصادية في مصر، ويعد أضافة للدراسات التي تناولت تاريخ الاسلام الاقتصادي, فقد أنفرد هذا المؤرخ المصري بكثير من التفاصيل والجزئيات التي تخص الاقتصاد المصري وكان شاهداً على عدد من المرويات التي وقعت في القرن الرابع الهجري / العاشر الميلادي. وعلى الرغم من أننا نقر بصحة الروايات التي أوردها هذا المؤرخ والتي يشاطره في معلوماته العديد من المؤرخين الذين تناولوا تاريخ الاسلام الاقتصادي، إلا اننا شخصنا عددا من الروايات التي أظهر فيها هذا المؤرخ المصري فيها الكثير من المبالغة والمحاباة لمصر وشعبها وصناعتها وغيرها من الجوانب الاقتصادية وتم الاشارة اليها بين ثنايا هذا البحث.
