Prevalent leadership styles among the heads of clubs and sports federations from the viewpoint of members of the administrative body in Kirkuk City

Abstract

Research Summary The research aims to identify the leadership styles with the heads of sports clubs in the province of Kirkuk, from the viewpoint of members of the administrative body and learn about leadership styles with the heads of sports federations in the province of Kirkuk, as well as a comparison between the leadership styles with the heads of clubs and sports federations. The researcher used the descriptive manner survey on a random sample of (50) members, and by (24.5%) of the total research community representing 25 members of sports clubs and (25) a member of the sports federations in the province of Kirkuk. And adopted the questionnaire as a means to collect data after the availability of scientific terms in it, and were treated statistically data through the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage and t-test and simple correlation . The researcher concluded that the pattern is free driving more commonly used among the heads of sports clubs from the viewpoint of members of the administrative body in the province of Kirkuk, followed by the Democratic pattern and then followed Al-atoukrati style, and there is no significance difference in all leadership patterns. The researcher recommends providing a training program leading to the patterns of the heads of clubs and sports federations to the awareness of their practice patterns leading to employ these patterns effectively and enable them to development and innovation in their field and administrative leadership.
