Abstract

The study of Islamic cities and their commercial and structural progress gives an impression of the social activities of these cities. It also gives an indication of how these activities came about over the years.This study has resented a problem this is because some of these cities do not have any clear dependable historical data due to their weak management systems in different cities.But for the knowledgeable historian, he has to look into many historical statements from different sources. This is a difficult issue which takes a long time to accomplish.We are ready to answer your queries about these Islamic cities, and we shall search the available information to find the answers for your questions.The problem of historical data differs from one city to another. Some are easier than others.Shatiba (92-644H/ 711-1246) is one of these Islamic cities.
