Climatic factors affecting breeding Ruminant Animals in Najaf Governorate

Abstract

Ruminant Animals source of food for humans and an important component of Iraq's national income or area of study. The study of these animals has attracted researchers in the field of geography or other sciences. The study took into account the climatic factors affecting ruminant culture in Najaf. A scientific problem that attempts to explain the climatic factors represented by solar radiation, temperature, rain, relative humidity and wind and its impact on the animals studied in order to provide the appropriate environment for these animals or at least to minimize the negative impact of these factors thus promoting the development of breeding these animals as a result of the growing demand for their products from meat and milk.
