Abstract

The Tribe of Thaqeef is one of the Qahtani, Mudhari civilized tribes that inhibited Ta'if and adapted cultivation.A small part of it inhibited Iraq with the Tribe of Iyad. In the preface of the research, I took the historical part of the tribe's affairs; its roots, branches, areas of residence, and its relations with other tribes. Then I discussed its dialectic properties of alhamz and changing the haa' into ain. After that I mentioned its relation with the Arabic script. I mentioned some words used by the tribe that are not used by other tribes. Finally I ended the research with the results and the resources.
