Abstract

Abstract: The current work aims at measuring teaching anxiety and recognizing its impact on a training program according to the style of social interaction in an attempt to decrease students' teaching anxiety in colleges of education in Basra. The sample comprises 845 of fourth level students (males/females) and those included in the experiment are 20 students from college of education for human sciences. They are chosen and distributed randomly into two equal groups; namely, experimental and control groups. To carry out the aims of this work, TCHAS is adopted translated by Saaed Al-Thafery and Ayda Al-Bosaidya in 2009, building a training program following the system of social interaction represented by theoretical and practical parts based on R.f. Belis's views. The researcher matched between the two groups according to a number of variants such as age , sex, parents educational background , his or her number among brothers and sisters. The work concludes that there is a weak level of teaching anxiety recognizing the impact of this program, and the results showed the effectiveness of this training program
