Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to clarify the impact of the Algiers agreement, which is signed between Iran and Iraq in March 1975 on the Collapse of Kurdish armed resistance. The agreement represented a deal was held between the two countries to resolve outstanding differences and problems between them, the reason that motived Baathist government to singe it, is development of Kurdish armed movement and it got support by the Iranian Shah as soon as the agreement was signed on sixth of March 1975 , Iran has cut off all aid to Mullah Mustafa Barzani, which is reflected in the end on the collapse of the Kurdish resistance on their side Kurds worked to undermine and fail mentioned Convention , because it was not consistent with their interests which depend on Iranian and American support.
