Promoting individualism and collectivism practices to meet the requirements of knowledge capital at Baghdad University

Abstract

The practices of individualism and collectivism are one of culture dimensions which (Hofstede) deter minded in 1991. and invest, these practices for the benefit of colleges to achieves the requirements,of knowledge capital expect, it will be an essential basic to achieve the success of the colleges,this research aimto measure the role of the practices of individualism and collectivism achieving the requirements of knowledge capital at Baghdad University,for here hence the research problem by raising questions about the essence of what it's about research and both sides theoretical and field and aim to answer these questions through the framing of theoretical and conceptual all variables. First "test models of the relationship and impact Secondly" the role of the practices of individual and collectivism to achieve the requirements of knowledge capital by posing Three assumptions major. To achieve the goal of the research and answer questions about the problem, applied research on a sample of (70) a professor at a number of colleges affiliated to the University of Baghdad. Resolution adopted as an essential tool. We reached through research toseveral results highlighted that practices collective colleges sample linked and affect the achievement of the requirements of knowledge capital and the effect of the practices collectivismwas more than the practices individualism.Keywords: individualism, collectivism, knowledge capital
