Abstract

The research took two variables form a intellectual framework and his two (Functional engagement and Employee performance appraisal system effectiveness Analytical The researcher examined the need of the Directorate to devise the methods that employ the dimensions of engagement in the investigated organization in order to develop methods and levels of work to evaluate the performance of the workers. The research started from the problem of crossing A number of questions, which is the question of the recognition of the staff in the Directorate of the field of research for the importance of engagement and the effectiveness of the system of performance appraisal ?. Is there a relationship between engagement and effectiveness of PAS at the macro and sub-level? The study was conducted on a sample of 200 people represented in the lower and operational levels of the General Directorate for the cultivation of the holy governorate of Karbala using the questionnaire as the main research tool. Statistical tools were used in the analysis and processing of data and information by adopting the statistical program SPSS.V. 14). The research was based on research methodology and post-analysis, and the research reached a set of conclusions, including proving its hypotheses. The research came out with a set of recommendations, including material and moral support by the administration to increase the desire of the workers to meet all their job requirements.
