The Degree of Effectiveness of Educational Supervision in the Development of Teaching Performance of Social Education Teachers in the Schools of Education Directorate of Northwest Badia District of Mafraq Governorate.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of educational supervision in the development of teaching performance of social education teachers in the schools of Education Directorate of Northwest Badia District in Mafraq Governorate. The study population consisted of (96) of males and females teachers who taught social education in its four branches (social education, National and Civil Society Education, history, and geography) for the primary and secondary stage in the schools of Education Directorate of Northwest Badia District in Mafraq Governorate for (2019/2018), and The study sample consisted of (70) of males and females teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (33) was developed and distributed into three areas (planning for the lesson, implementation of the lesson/teaching skill, use of teaching aids, assessment of learning and evaluation of the educational process). The results of the study showed that the degree of effectiveness of educational supervision in developing the teaching performance of the teachers of social education in the schools of Education Directorate of the Northwest Badia District in Mafraq Governorate was very large in all fields. The results also showed statistically significant differences due to the gender variable, as well as the variable of years of experience, and there is an impact of interaction between the two variables.
