Growth andcharacterization of Mn2O3nano thin films by spin coating technique

Abstract

AbstractMn2O3 nano thin films were preparedon glass substrates using spin coating technique by takingmanganese acetate (Mn(CH3COO)2.4H2O) as starting martial for different molar solutions. Solutionwas prepared by dissolving Mn(CH3COO)2.4H2O as precursor and monoethanolamine (MEA) asstabiliser agent and 2-methoxyethanol as solvent. The mixture was stirred at 80oC until to get highviscous transparent solution. A small portion was taken and dropped on to corning glass substratewhich was rotated at (3000) rpm for (30) sec and dried at 300oC. The process was repeated for threetimes to get desired thickness of the film.also Prepared films were characterized by using XRD,SEM, UV-Vis spectrophotometer.
